Winder Power – Reception & Meeting Space Transformation
Winder Power are a forward-thinking manufacturing business with a state-of-the-art factory, innovative solutions, and a strong modern brand identity. However, their existing reception and meeting spaces no longer reflected the quality of their offering or the experience they wanted visitors to have when entering the building.
Our brief was to completely redesign the front-of-house environment and create a space that truly represented the Winder Power brand, while also improving functionality for staff, clients, suppliers, and contractors using the space daily.
From the outset, we worked closely with the directors and sales team to understand exactly how they wanted people to feel when arriving at the building.
The goal was to create a welcoming, impressive and professional environment that immediately reflected the innovation and quality behind the company.

Illuminated acoustic raft
One of the key challenges within the project was working around the existing suspended grid ceiling system. Rather than replacing the full ceiling due to budget constraints, we designed a bespoke illuminated acoustic raft feature above the reception desk, creating a striking focal point while also improving acoustics and lighting within the space.
A key part of the redesign involved completely reconfiguring the existing layout to allow for the construction of a brand-new glazed meeting room within the reception space. The original layout lacked a dedicated area for professional client meetings, supplier discussions and private conversations, so we carefully reworked the footprint to create a modern, functional meeting environment without compromising the openness of the reception area.
The newly constructed glazed meeting room provides a high-end, contemporary space for presentations, collaborative meetings and day-to-day use by the sales and management teams. Using full-height glazing allowed natural light to flow throughout the space while maintaining visual connection to the wider reception area, helping the environment feel open, bright and welcoming rather than enclosed.
The feature wall became another major part of the scheme, combining Winder Power’s bold brand colours with layered hexagonal acrylic elements, textured 3D detailing and integrated living greenery to create a modern, high-impact installation that immediately draws attention upon arrival.
The completed project now gives Winder Power a reception and meeting environment that feels modern, professional and fully aligned with their brand and manufacturing capability, creating a far stronger first impression for both visitors and staff alike.
